Anna Goraczko is a visual artist living and working in her native Miami, FL.
Currently a candidate for the Master of Fine Arts program at Florida International University, Anna is studying the use of painting and dyeing fibers to create works exploring the dynamics between colors and the potential for expanding upon themes of the self, objectivity, and spirituality.
Anna received a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Florida International University in 2008. She earned a certificate in Drawing and Painting from Parsons School of Design (The New School) in New York City, participating in their summer intensive studies program. She was awarded the Betty Laird Perry Purchase Award from The Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum. After graduation she moved to Chicago, IL where she lived and worked for 8 years, 6 of which she gained museum management experience at Shedd Aquarium in downtown Chicago.
Her work has been exhibited in Miami, New York, Chicago, Miami Beach, Little Haiti and Aventura in various solo, duo, and group shows.
